Evelyn Symons is a writer and photographer living in London Ontario. Her camera and pen serve as a passport into the lives and stories of people and places where she is able to combine her two passions. She is an award-winning photographer and is gaining ground in the field of writing as she travels, interviews and lives for life’s experiences. 

Evelyn has completed writing courses through the University of Western Ontario and finding parallels with the two mediums do not surprise her. When others see nothing, Evelyn can find the hidden gem. She has yet to meet a person or place without a story.  
 

As an active member of her community, one of Evelyn’s joys in giving back is being the photographer for the London Children’s Connection, a non-profit organization providing excellence in childcare in and out of the home.   
 

Evelyn also serves on the education committee for the London Camera Club.  
 

Evelyn is grateful for the generations that came before her as artists, writers, and photographers, passing on a creative spirit. Her now grown children living in the U.K. carry that spirit forward with their writing, sketching, painting, and photography.
